What about kromatool ?

Dear Kromeheaveners !

It's time to give you some information about Kromatool : As you may know, I've stopped the development as soon as some "silly" people have reached the Krome scene, stealing our work for sharing it on "other" website and without crediting originals authors. (What a pity...)

The reverse engineering made on the META.IMG file format was not complete...but this time, I've a great news for you. It is.

What does this mean?

In fact the missing part was about the waveforms meta structure...here are the fields :

Theses 2 values (2 shorts) are automatically set for each samples (waveforms) according to the compression processing originally done by MakeOptionPcm.exe tool.

By compression, I do not mean zip, rar, or this kind of compressed format, but an audio processing is done to allow a correct dynamic on 8 bits samples.

In fact, I've not implemented this kind of processing on kromatool...TG01Compress is a clue for me...for the moment :)

I am not an audio processing expert, but what I can say is that if we set arbitrary values on theses 2 fields it is ok for some samples but ko for others.

We should have some help from talented people : to try best values or to help me to implement the same "compress" processing.
